Dr. Nair Dhiren Ajit serves as the Officiating Principal of Maharishi Aurobindo Subharti College & Hospital of Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences and the Officiating Dean of the Faculty of AYUSH at Swami Vivekanand Subharti University in Meerut. With a robust background in naturopathy and yoga, he combines clinical expertise, academic leadership, and research innovation to advance holistic health education. EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND Dr. Nair holds an M.D. in Naturopathy from SDM College of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences, Ujire (2019), and a B.N.Y.S. from the same institution (2016). He is pursuing a Ph.D. in Community Medicine at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Subharti Medical College, with a thesis on yoga-based interventions for psychological, cognitive, and physical parameters. Additional certifications include Ozone Therapy (2026), Gandhian Philosophy Fellowship (2023), and Research Methodology from Shri Ram College of Commerce (2024). PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE As Associate Professor and Department In-Charge for postgraduate studies since 2020, Dr. Nair guides BNYS and MD research projects in naturopathy, yoga, and nutrition. He serves as Assistant Medical Superintendent and Unit Head at Subharti Hospital, treating lifestyle disorders and chronic conditions with naturopathic therapies. Previously an Assistant Professor (2019-2025), he has examined papers for universities such as Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Rajasthan Ayurved University, IIMT University Meerut, U.P and contributed to NAAC coordination and the QS Sustainability Ranking. RESEARCH AND PUBLICATIONS Dr. Nair has authored peer-reviewed articles in journals such as Advances in Mind-Body Medicine and the Indian Journal of Traditional Knowledge, covering topics including asthma baths, yoga, and heart rate variability, and sleep hygiene among students, and guided over 33 student projects. Published books include "Yoga For A Healthy Life" and "The Naturopathy Heritage Historians Who Shaped the System"; he holds industrial designs for devices like an IoT-based nutrition checker. AWARDS AND CONTRIBUTIONS Recipient of the Subharti Young Achiever Award (2023) and Extraordinary Service Award (2025), Dr. Nair has represented India's traditional medicine at international events like Yeongdeok H-Wellness Festa (2023-2024) and Wellness Festa, South Korea. He also organized awareness camps, delivered public health talks, and chaired conferences on naturopathy and yoga. His skills in administration, event management, and multilingual communication (English, Hindi, Kannada, Gujarati) drive institutional excellence. |
